I live in a rural country home with my husband, Davis, and our four boys. Max, Cooper, Reed, & Beau. We also have two dogs, Minnie (St Bernard) and Mollie (yorkie-poo). Davis and I met at Lincoln HI and were high school sweethearts. We have been married since 2011.

I graduated with my RN degree from Central Lakes College in Brainerd, MN in 2011. I completed my BSN from SMSU in 2022.

Currently, I work full time at the Avera Marshall Emergency Department as well as helping out at the Avera Cancer Center. Also, I have an awesome position as a school nurse at Lincoln Elementary.

The kids at Lincoln Elementary have been a fun surprise! I have enjoyed each of my interactions with them and love to watch them learn new things. They are always excited about getting a sticker from Nurse Lisa.

The best part of being a nurse is being helpful, kind and understanding to all that I meet. In a world full of judgement and anger, I want to be a safe place for others.
